Understandable. But still very, very cool.
There is no such thing as a dream that you cannot obtain.
You may have to work for it, however.

Thanks! The whole thing was drawn in pencil, nothing fancy. The hands probably look darker than the original since the scanner never really picks up shades properly. :/
As for the "impossibility" bit, I'm going to attempt to explain it. Hopefully I won't get everything jumbled.
Okay...in her native reality, "Penance" (not her real name, by the way; she gets that name after her punishment is handed down) possesses the physical form she has in this picture. The hooves, horns, so on and so forth. Since she is a succubus, she approaches her "victims" while they sleep; in this state, it is often believed one can see. hear or experience things that are considered paranormal (such as people claiming they heard their dead grandmother talk to them right before waking up). She isn't technically in the same reality as the victim, but the person doesn't know this. They think they are dreaming, or, in some cases, that what they are seeing is real. The succubus then appears to the victim as their ideal partner. If someone gets off on 80-year-old double amputees, that's what she'll look like to them. If they like curvaceous women, same thing. If the victim is some weird, egg tentacle alien, she'll appear as whatever form that critter finds
irresistible. The succubus is entirely adaptable, and their perceived form is ultimately up to their intended victim.
Now, since she only possesses her normal physical form in her native reality, and assumes other forms when "hunting" (although said forms are not technically real), she used to some flexibility. But now she has been punished and actually forced into a solid, physical form in a reality not her own. She cannot change this form (although she can appear to when confronting her victims. Sort of a head-game). This new physical form is capable of being injured (and boy does she ever get messed up in the story), but because she's supernatural, the form heals rapidly.
So she could not be in the cemetery in her native form, since that form is no longer available to her. She would appear as the little bear. But I thought the demon form would look cooler in the picture.
