I shouldn't really call it that, since it's what I do for a living now, but I'd much rather be working on Caterwaul instead! I've got an appointment to meet with a fellow who wants me to illustrate a series of kid's books, and he wants to be able to get them out in time for Christmas. I dunno if he can pull that off, but I'll do my best to get his first book done in time.

It seems when it was last replaced (late February), they used a 3-4 month stent, not the year-long one I had previously. There seems to be some issues with the new year-long stents, so I will now have to undergo surgery every 3-4 months to have the stent replaced. :( The current replacement has caused all kinds of problems, and the kidney is currently swollen a bit (hydronephrosis, I think it's called), so a stent exchange is mandatory now.

If I can pull it off, I'd like to get the second collection done in August, but I don't know what's going on with the mainstream stuff at this point (if I get the book job, I'll probably attend less shows or take less commission jobs, since I won't be able to do them in addition to everything else).
