You've got that right, Jim. I had to learn the hard way to beware of the trolls. And I think that you are right that many of the people in this fandom genre would certainly take it the wrong way. There is a time and place for everything, unfortunately there are a few that do not understand this and ruin things for the rest of us.
On another topic, considering my job and proclivities involving edged weapons and reenactment, have you ever thought about doing your characters with a fantasy or medieval setting and attire? I know that I would dig something like that, I wonder if anyone else would. Please, though, by no means am I trying to tell you what to draw. That would go against my nature. It would be like someone trying to tell me how to make a blade, but I know at least one person that would by that folio! :D
There is no such thing as a dream that you cannot obtain.
You may have to work for it, however.

It'd be great to be able to share the book with folks in the fandom, but I'm certain people can understand why I SHOULD NOT make the work known to this genre. Too many trolls would love to cause problems, and if I publicized the book, it could lead to folks connecting my mainstream work to my anthro work, and that's not something I can allow. To bridge a connection between those two markets would pretty much be the death of my mainstream "career", and that is the market which earns me my income!
