I plan to have it ready to go (plus some of issue 2 finished) before winter. That is when I will submit it, in any case. AVP may have to delay in publishing it due to their schedule, but that's their call. I'm not gonna push 'em!

All the artwork on the cover, including the black background, was drawn entirely by hand on a single sheet of paper. In order to fix something that small, I'd have to pretty much redraw the whole thing.
By the way, have you looked at any mainstream comics lately? Those things are so chock-full of perspective errors, mechanical errors, layouts and everything else that it almost hurts my brain to even look at them! ;P
The gun's slide has an overhang, sort of like the headlight bezel on a '57 Chevy. Is that what's throwing off the perspective?
Pfft. "Layers". Heh heh. Damn, son, you're talking to an old-timer here! I don't use them new-fangled computer thingamajigs!
Just kidding. I used Photoshop for the logo. Oh, and the text and word balloons in the comic. Otherwise, all the comic pages feature artwork sans text.
