It is the 'very off topic, for all groups posted to' that tends to be what people have an issue with. IF you are going to do an off-topic post, only do it to one group. Ideally, it should be an on-topic post! If we wanted to know what you were doing during 9/11, we'd probably join a group about it. You have a bad reputation for frequently off-topic posting to multiple groups; which shows lack of thought on your behalf and gross disrespect to group members.

Many don't express the opinion publicly or just hold their tongue, since you have also a reputation of causing drama if someone expresses a dissenting opinion. And it is most certainly not the first time.
Jim Hardiman is more lenient than me and will let through some of the off-topic posts, where I tend to be more draconian and will delete most off-topic posts that come through, to try and maintain the signal-to-noise ratio.
As a general request, for anyone who is not Jim Hardiamn, please refrain from off-topic posting to the Skunkworks Group.
