Lack of compassion? Boy, and I use that in the most belittling manner possible, and I will go ahead and apologize to Jim and Scrapper right now, and understand if I am removed from the group, I want to see topics about Jim and his art here, or related events, news and discussions. I do not want to be reminded that I was visiting Manhatten and the WTC on September 10, 2001 before returning home to my little apartment that was about a mile from the Pentagon, or that I have a friend that was an EMT and he and 3 others were the only one that made it out of that disaster from his battalion of 136. I don't want people bringing up crap like that because they are curious. I was going to be one of those people that just held one's tongue, but that's shot all to hell now, hey?
I don't want to be reminded of what I saw, what I smelled that day. I had enough of that when I was in the military.
So, I agree with Scrapper. End this thread.
There is enough hate and angst out there in the real world, and I would rather come here to the group for a little "what if the world was like this...", not deal with some curiosity BS. Yeah, a lot of us will never forget the 3000. Nor the others that have died since. But what is going on here is rather infantile. You want to remember those lost? You want to honor them? Then cowboy up and do what I and a lot of others did and sign up for the military, or as a firefighter, or some other job that makes a difference. Don't bring it here.
Again, Jim, Scrapper, sorry for the rant.
There is no such thing as a dream that you cannot obtain.
You may have to work for it, however.

Well what is there to talk about other than this topic I made? Other than this topic I made which affects everyone I have not seen anyone talking about other stuff.
I don't understand the lack of compassion on the over 3,000 lives lost 9 years ago? I can't believe that you all seem not to care and all you seem to care about is staying on topic of this group. I'm a owner of many groups and if anyone wants to talk about whatever is on their minds and I never make them stay on the topic of what the group title is. There is more to life that anthro stuff.
