Architecture work? Pfft. I wish. No, the closest I come to that is drawing buildings and houses in my pictures. I enjoy different kinds of architecture, but I certainly am not schooled in it! Drawing it is one thing, but designing it is quite another!
Art-wise, I'm still doing work on the kids book thing, although that's currently being held up. I think the author is seeking to register trademarks on the characters, so I'm waiting until that shit goes through before proceeding. Still drawing CnC (now weekly). I have sketches I need to clean up and finish for the Manila folio. Caterwaul issue 1 is finished, although it still needs tobe scanned and have the text added. A little bit of book 2 is done, but I would really like to get most of that done before publishing the first one. I don't want to get behind with the title, and since I sometimes have to put things on hold due to work or health issues (I had 13 hospital visits last year, whee), I think it's important to be at least 2 steps ahead with the title.
Nurses and their antics are an accepted ritual nowadays. I have to have lab work and tests done every 2-3 months mandatory, not to mention stent replacement surgery 2-3 times a year. Hey, it's better than being dead.
Not tinkering with the bikes right now because it's too damn cold out. If I had that garage fully heated, sure, I'd be out there rebuilding things. But I think I'll wait until the Spring rolls around to start getting my hands greasy again.
Uploading artwork isn't a problem, really. I think there are between 600-700 pictures that have been posted online or published since 1995. I've drawn over 13,000 pictures since then. But alas, they aren't all anthropomorphic (or decent enough to show). I usually end up going through stacks of old sketches and shredding or burning them. No sense keeping them after 5 years if I haven't used them by that point.
Websites aren't too big a deal. The Des site is fairly simple. The Skunkworks site, while it doesn't have a bunch of bells and whistles, does host a ton of information about damn near anything and everything I could think of pertaining to the girls and their world. All that typing is what takes so long (that and rescanning all the prints and folios).
I only meet with Des a few times a month, so it's not very costly. Sometimes we'll just hang out and watch some movies. Thankfully, her bar-hopping and clubbing is behind her (she's creeping up on 38, y'know!)
