A spell-checker is really only of use if words are only slightly spelled wrong.
Reading the given explanation still required me to think hard about what some
words might be, and work them out from context, so I doubt a regular
spell-checker would be able to do much to improve the situation.
I'm a stickler for spelling and grammar (and especially punctuation), but I can
forgive atrocities if there's a good reason for it, such as in this case. If
anything, it gave me a good mental workout.
