Here's my tip for seeing pictures you want. Learn to draw. I learnt, after years of trying to commission people to draw for me, that it is 1) hard to find someone good you can afford. 2) hard to get them to draw the way you want it to be. 3) Usually a long wait.
It was actually being on this group and seeing Jim's work that inspired me to put pencil on paper. My first real attempts at art are somewhere in Jim's fanart collection (which will be going on the new website, when things all come together). I drew because I wanted to share the pictures in my head with others. If you don't want to share the image, there is no need to draw. A little bit like 'worrying that people will steal your image' if you post it online. If you don't want to share the images, then don't. I believe there are a few of us on the group who would feel honored if someone 'stole' and redistributed our images - that'd mean our stuff was at least worth stealing!
