Well, I did mention at the very beginning that this comic was heavy on the horror theme and was going to contain a fair amount of gore and violence. Those who weren't into that sort of thing were warned beforehand so they wouldn't have to expose themselves to something outside their tastes.

There are only 2 pages left, if I remember correctly. And while I don't actually show the "behind the scenes" stuff in the Caterwaul/Penance story (as I'm doing with the "Dead Bitch" story), this comic is also serving to show folks there's a lot more that can be done in the anthropomorphic genre besides porn.

Caterwaul is NOT a horror-themed comic, although the "Penance" story does have numerous horror elements in it. It is normally a science-fiction/action comic. It does NOT focus on porn or ridiculous scenes in which characters find themselves groping each other because they just can't control themselves. That sort of stuff gets old real fast, and rather limits the reader to what they can expect from the story.

Having said all that, if it isn't your cup of tea, by all means, don't expose yourself to it. I tried the best I could to warn folks about the violence in the comic, and it is ultimately up to the individual reader to decide whether or not they want to continue reading it.

Things should resume to normalcy shortly after the last page is posted, though. Just a few more days...

Oh, and as far as it being a commission? Well, don't always believe everything you read online. ;)
