>No, actually I had discussed it with a friend over the phone several weeks ago. It came about because of a discussion we were having about the modern use of the word "thong". Back when I was a kid, thongs were cheap rubber sandals you put on your feet when you went to the beach or pool.

Yep, that's what the Aussies still think of thongs as - cheap rubber footwear that really shouldn't be worn anywhere except visiting the beach or pool - but that doesn't stop a lot of people... >_<
Can't find the comic of Fred Gassit and Kaptain Kalipers where he learns about bike brakes, after sliding through an intersection using his thongs as brakes on the road (of course, he crashes and blames "cheap bloody thongs").

That's a pretty good turn-around time! I think you're getting quicker.
> I'm still working on simplifying my inking style in order to make it easier to produce the "Cats n' Cameras" comic. Time will be at a premium once "Caterwaul" starts rolling off the presses, so I have to streamline my other artistic efforts if I expect to be able to do all these various projects!

I guess that's were the speed increase is coming from - easier style makes for greater throughput.
>I imagined it to be someone overhearing Penance yelling at the store employee. I think it would be hilarious to hear someone scream those profane sentiments with her little girl-ish voice. I would probably laugh, actually.

Yes, I reckon I'd snigger as well.

Yeah, know the feeling. The weather has been too cold for spray painting, so the Suzuki GF is stripped, but haven't started painting and the panels are prepped for repair on the Jaguar, but again too cold to be trying to make paint finish with a nice result. My excuse is it is winter in the southern part of the globe, and too much junk in the garage to make a big enough work area for spray painting. :-/
I reckon the Shadow would look good in the black, with a pearled translucent flame job over the top, then put Penance the demon on the fuel tank, then about 10 coats of clear. Nah, just kidding; only 4 coats of clear. ;-)
Scrapper, Black Dragon, often frustrated by too much time 'making a living' and not enough time 'having a life'.
