Huh. I'd replied to this 2 days ago and it looks like either my connection zilched out, or Yahoo dropped the ball. In any case...
Looking over the character bios on the site, it does appear that Sugar and Trixie are close friends who occasionally engage in sextracurricular activity (see what I did there?). The "Saturday Match" story was a piece of fan-fiction, I believe, but the author got the characters pretty spot-on.
