Finally get around to actually replying to the picture post!  Jim goes to all this work and all but a few of us pass any comments, let alone much more than "that's cool...".

With a face like Treska's, it does beg the predator style 'crash through the page' pose - great to see it's happened!  Awesome shading and definition of object shapes  - get a really good sense of depth.  Things like shadows on her tongue also aid the sense of depth.  For those who look, you can see her shoulders have a softer focus, while her snout is sharp, giving the shallow depth-of-field effect; part of the old focal analysis I was always so keen on spouting.

Never really considered her head spikes / hair to be serrated, but certainly procludes 'patting her on the head' unless you've some serious tough (scaled?) skin - then hope she doesn't shake her head... Initially I though Jim may have had a case of the DT's and had gone all wobbly on us, but all the rest of the lines are awesomely smooth, so they are intentional and not medication induced. :-)

Could be a good image to have inside a back cover or similar of a folio or book, just to fill in the space.

Thanks for sharing with us - good to see you managed to scrounge a little time to do a pic and post it online.

Scrapper, Black Dragon, slowing clearing backlog...
