The fundamental question that must be asked and answered is "Why change?"

What benefit do these actions have?

Clearing the messages out?  I can't think of any, unless you are trying to 'hide your tracks', then it must be asked why you would want to do that?

Why move the files?  Keep fanart and completed pieces on the official Skunkworks web site to make room for more sketch work and fanart - seems worthwhile.

Moving to another forum?  Can't see any improvement in control or flexibility that we don't have here, plus you then have the headache of system level admin and server maintenance - may as well use someone else's free service (like the one we are already using!).  Plus as mentioned, you are just 'starting over' - why would you want to 'delete your history'?  We should be proud of what Jim has achieved - no reason to hide it!

Having someone else admin the group will either remove control that you may want, or already exists in the current form, so can't see a benefit of changing there neither.

Scrapper, Black Dragon, life is like chess - it pays to think a few moves ahead.

PS - this was the first Yahoo group I ever joined - the reason for my email account even!  It would be sad to see that reason disappear.  It is also about the only Yahoo group I now bother to participate in - one of the few that offers any 'value'. S,BD.
