The artwork they mention is the old parody stuff Des and I posted to the various Newsgroups (alt.binary.nospam.toons, for example). Anyone remember those? Back then, neither of us had even heard about "cub" art, and the majority of those pictures were either drawn for shock value, laughs, or in response to something said on the Newsgroups.
Hell, if you look at her old Dragon Tales artwork, you may notice that Cassie (I think is her name?) had decidedly adult equipment. I recall a post on ABNT where someone asked why the pink dragon didn't have kid parts, and Des replied back with something like "Because she's not a kid. Ew".
To Lulz, any character that isn't 6 feet tall with FFF cup boobs is "cub". Bear in mind, they also have a pro-cub thread on Monday on Lulz, and many namefags there post in threads they say they disagree with or don't partake in. I keep tabs on things. ;-)
I think some of them also like to state the skunk trio are underage, by making the mistake of relying on human rules and standards in a society in which humans do not exist. The information I've got on the site outlines the rules and regulations of the trio's society, such as the fact that biologically and legally, folks are considered "adult" at the age of 16 in their world. The ages in their profiles were advanced one year because only about three years have passed since the studio opened it's doors (as compared to the nearly 20 here). The girls, and all the other characters, age throughout the stories. By the time the fifth Caterwaul story comes out, they'll be about 20-21 years old!
As for Lulz itself, I just like trolling the shit out of them. And I swear, they damn near take the bait every time. Watch for something I have planned that'll put the troll attempt at 11/10. >;-) Haha!
