That's actually a fly in the third panel. It landed on the door because it was attracted by what it thought was another fly; it turned out to be the apostrophe decal falling off and flailing in the wind.

Jim and I had discussed it awhile back, and I had stretched out some of the remaining comics to allow the new artist a little extra time to get a buffer established (as well as get accustomed to the characters). The new artist should be well prepared!

Extra time? Nonononoooo. My plans are to work on the Team Player folio and get the text version of the "Penance" graphic novel to the proof readers by the end of the year. I want to get the "Penance" comic started, art-wise, by no later than late winter. The comic will also serve the purpose of introducing readers to the details of the "Caterwaul" world, because those details won't be explained too much in the "Caterwaul" stories themselves. Only then can I resume working on the "Caterwaul" books.
And I think the folks on Lulz have learned there's just no way in hell they can get me riled up. It seems several have caught on to the fact I just like to troll them. Might have to change tactics, haha!

Thanks! But you never know, the next artist might put in some surprises too!
