I read the beta of the history pages about the
*Skunkworks/Caterwaul*world. Nicely done, Jim! Here are my comments.

• I notice that the countries and continents all have the same names as in
the real world. This just seems weird to me, especially with their history
not matching up with ours. Will this be changed in the final version?

• Will we ever learn more about historical figures like Constance O'Dell
and Edward Lindsey?

• For that matter, will Samuel Vaughn (who's presumably still alive) appear
in one of the stories? (Oh, and what species is he?)

• I have to say, there seems to be an element of Mary
Suetopia<http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MarySuetopia>in
some aspects of the history, from the fundamentalists being dealt with
early on to the major powers cooperating on space travel. I'm not judging
or anything--I wish our history had turned out that way too--and besides,
anybody who creates a fictional world does so at least in part to speculate
on how our world could be better (or worse).

Comments, anyone?
