I agree with Inkwell - I don't think "the end is nigh" with respect to Skunkworks; more that it is the final page of the cartoon.
Yes, JMH loves hardware (as do I) and is awesome at drawing cars. He may almost do better drawing car commissions for enthusiasts like myself who own classic hardware.
JMH is not keen to host externally due to 'reduced control' of media on the server - he's had dramas previously and not keen to repeat the experience. I'm sure if JMH wanted, Cheeta could find some way of hosting on the TJA / CatNCameras server system - but that's for them to decide.
Some of the old fanart has been archived, not lost, in preparation for the new web site (expected to be up some time this century, Earth time), along with the 'hidden' web site (due for release around the same time, +/- a decade). Seriously though, the art is not lost, but JMH (and many of us) have other things that take priority (such as health, income to cover living costs, general mess control) when it comes to setting up new sites or creating/posting art, since Skunkworks unfortunately doesn't pay the bills (has been tried; did not succeed).
Inkwell, I believe the emoticon you were wanting is: O_o
Scrapper, Black Dragon, big stuff in real life taking priority over regular posting (though I do read and keep watch frequently!)
