The version shown in these images is just a simplified "toony" version of her. Her appearance in the GN will be far more realistic (even more than the first full-color picture I drew of her years ago).
I don't know if Des is going to do anything. Her response was just this "look". To the best of my knowledge, I don't think she's ever drawn Penance.
