I want to take this moment as a sort of public-notice note and to re-affirm
what larry said to everyone to always wear your seat belts. Least of
anything the life you save will most likely be your own. I was lucky and
did not have any permanent disabilities, not like some folks do. But as a
personal victim to a drunk driver (and car theif) I can promise you, SEAT
BELTS DO SAVE LIVES, wear them! Always! I wore mine and all I ended up with
was a 6 month coma, fractured disc in my lower back and permanent damage to
my memory center of my brain (I lost all life memories before the accident
almost, except the "deep" ones about my mother.) The other driver did not
wear a seat belt and ended up on my windshield, not quite in one piece.
Sorry to be morbid but folks need to know, 1.) Don't drink and drive, 2.)
Wear seat belts.
That's all.. back to hiding and lurking.
