The new Yahoo/NEO layout and interface is causing all sorts of issues. For reasons unknown, I'm not able to approve new members, and any attempt results in an error message. This is apparently a very common thing with the "new" Yahoo groups, as an untold number of moderators from other groups are having the same issues.
The new version of the group also does not post announcements when new files are uploaded. So if a new picture is posted here, I'd have to go back and make a separate thread for it just to announce the fact there's a new upload! Yahoo needs to either drop this current system or come up with a better one. I'll never understand why things are always getting "upgraded" or "improved", when nothing of the sort is happening, and the items in question were working just fine beforehand!
The group is also likely quiet as I haven't posted much artwork this year and haven't really drawn anything since early this year. Medical issues and work have kept my involvement to a minimum, unfortunately. And while the medical situation is improving a little, there are still a lot of problems (which have been going on since the start of 2013, really).
The lack of new material is likely a big culprit for the group's silence. No new art means no conversation! Heck, I don't even get to jump on and joke around like I used to...
