Let's hope they can sort out your chemical cocktails - don't want to have to wear a Hazchem placard on the back of your bike jacket... Seriously though, it does show that it pays to question what 'professionals' tell you - it is just a job and just like anything else, people can get it wrong. Allowing The Web has only been around since late 1991, any web site pre-dating 2000 has basically been around a long time! Since it was in 1993 that The Web was nominated as being 'royalty free', that would put TJA pretty close to the start of the time where internet started to become interesting.
