Rest in peace, Jim. You'll be missed.

In the theme though (of should this group be kept open or closed), I see all these messages were approved today, meaning there is still a moderator on duty in the group. To that person, my question is: was this group originally a fan-started group, meaning the group owner is still here, or is this a group that Jim started, meaning there is now only a group moderator left? If the latter, can you check if you have the authority to add more moderators? The easiest way for a group to die out is to have only 1 person in charge of approvals/changes, and then have that person either lose interest or pass away. I'd hate to see a group that has actually remained active AND ON TOPIC for over 13 years to either close, or become a static, unchanging memorial. I'd like to see people talk about their memories of Jim, for those who met him or interacted with him over the years. I never met the man, but I did purchase some artwork from him from his auctions, so I did have a little interaction with him. Does anyone know if Jim ever talked about other creators working on his characters, or will the Skunkwork characters cease with his passing? Probably the best authority on that would be Desiree Lee, but who knows if even this would break her silence on the characters. I guess only time will answer some of these questions, but I hope the group will remain open so we can get (at least some) of those answers.
