Greetings Skunkworks AMA fans;

Jim as gone and with respect to this group, left me at the helm. Jim was never the owner of this group - the original owner has been out of the picture for many years; Jim and I were just moderators. Of the other moderators, I believe I am the only one who still has an account that is active. I will look into being able to add other moderators, but I don't know if Jim gave my account adequate access to make these modifications - I will find out.

I haven't heard from Desiree Lee for quite and will and only in passing through Jim, so I am unable to shed any light on "how she's taken the news"; if anyone has contact with her in reality, those of us who care on the group wish her well and would like to know how she is going.

With respect to the future and use of this group, I would like to see it carried on as a memorial to the artwork of James M. Hardiman. That way all of his posts, wisdom and discussions, along with his art can be held in one place for as long as the group shall exist. I don't think that because the creator has died that we should obliterate their works. I personally welcome fanart, as did Jim; we both appreciate that someone is sufficiently inspired to take the effort to create something to 'say thanks'. Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery - Jim did what he liked doing, but was glad if you liked it too.

Martvw - awesome tribute picture - Jim would have loved that and is a great drawing. I feel it is very fitting (as must you). Thank-you for sharing with us.

As an extension on preserving Hardiman artwork, I don't know how many megabytes it would take versus availability on the group, but it would be awesome to have ordered collections stored here.

With respect to messages, anything that is just re-iterating that "Is Jim Dead" or "Jim Is Dead", I am filtering out, as it doesn't add anything to the discussion; both these points have now been well covered. Don't take it personally - if I had been online earlier, I could have prevented the backlog, but I am not on a computer all the time these days.

If you want to 'send condolensces' (these I will approve), please include what you liked about Jim and his art, or even better, what he inspired you to do. Honour his memory with how he inspired others.

Scrapper, Black Dragon, all is not lost.
