>I know what I had said earlier, and I still stand by what I said, its just I don't want to see people profiting off Jim's work, and I don't want to see fan-work or stories passed off as one of his lost works. This is something we will have to be careful of, I say we, cause we as the Skunked Group lurkers, posters, and others have to stay true to Jim and his legacy. That being said, I currently have a business class server with a very reliable host, I would have to reread the TOS for Jim's Artwork, but do know that I can host a dedicated BBS for this group at no-charge. If everyone is interested, I would set-up full admin control to whom I am not exactly sure, Scrapper, or who ever is the actual mod here now. That person would have full control over the setup, design, permissions, groups, and who the mods would be. I would not wish to have any mod control over this group myself. I would just host it for everyone here. In this way we would be
able to ensure that this board keeps current and keeps going. If Cheeta could host the archive and have the board located in a different location with just links to each other, then we would also ensure that we would have a form of redundancy keeping this site up.
>If interested just give me a pm. oh and by the way, I do like the two artwork posted for Jim's, especially the water colour.

>What has Jim inspired me to do? I am currently making an entire anthro world. It is inspired by Jim's Skunkworks world. It is going to be an alternative universe version of our world, but with many differences from out real world. There are species which anyone who has followed Jim's work over the years will instantly recognize as being inspired by Jim's art and world. The history of my world will also include many things that Jim had planned on using in his world. He kindly gave me permission to use the Bet versions of his Species Page and History Page from his official website for my story world a few years back when I talked to him over at Furaffinity. Laid back as ever, he said "go for it man!". I think he was happy that someone wanted to incorporate what he had started into something that he most likely knew would live longer than himself. :C

>As for what is going to happen in the world...there will be no skunk trio or Caterwaul team in my world. If they exist, I won't be writing about them. They are Jim's, and I don't feel worthy of trying to carry on what he had planned for those. Especially Caterwaul. I couldn't even begin to imagine what he had planned for that or the Penance story.

>There will also be some considerable differences between my Jim inspired world and the one Jim had planned. Genetic engineering will play a big part in the story of Jana de la Rey, an Afrikaans wolf who is kidnapped and modified to resemble a hyena against her will by a big bag company. And there will be at least one completely artificially made species latter on in the story. I am thinking that they will be made with some sort of futuristic 3D printer or something. ;) After that...I don't know. I am sure I will think of something.
