Re: RIP Jim

It was winter '08~'09, when I was new to this large and complex community, (anthropomorphic and everything related) that I first saw the artwork of James Hardiman.

As time went by, I was enchanted by his characters, stories and perspective.

It isn't just artwork, "famous" artists that are showcased in museums paint trees and buildings that we've never seen, people we'll never know; it's still, silent and frozen.
Jim's artwork is alive, it's stories, joy and sorrow, rage and humor, a complex tapestry of every emotion and perspective. Characters that are dynamic and lovable, that you come to know and cherish.

And behind it all was this wonderful, talented yet humble, patient and kindhearted person.
He changed the world in so many ways, made so many happy, and I feel so fortunate to have known him for the time I did.
My only regret is that I didn't take more time to know him better, join this group sooner, talk more, or realize exactly how sick he was and how much difference a simple positive comment made.

Maybe his work will never be in a museum, but what he brought to all of us was more beautiful, more human, more real than any Picasso or Rembrandt.
And that's why the world will never be the same...
