I agree. Working to preserve a deceased person's ideas does not prevent anyone from also pursuing his own originality in other styles of art. You can do both. People can do more than just one thing without either thing suffering from it. You can like Jazz and gospel music and country music and classical music and hard rock and write all five well. Hard rock probably wouldn't go over very well in a church. There is a place for everything. This is a place for James' work and for fan are based on it. But the same people who like James' work can also go to other groups to enjoy participating in other things.

It's about keeping your boxes properly marked and keeping the right things in the right boxes so that everyone will know where everything can be found.
