I think it would have been literally. He spent 15 years in the SAS (Australian elite special force soldiers), then retired to train SAS troops, then decided he needed to find something else to do and this was one of his _many_ insane ideas - if he wants to sponsor his retirement, he could write a book of the stuff he's done (or planned to do!) - instant best seller and most people would never, ever believe it. He's also a great story teller, but that tends to run in the family...

Or he could mind the skunk sisters while Val was away with work - no, you're not allowed to use the automatic rifle to keep them in line!

I have a fan fiction somewhere that I didn't finish (isn't that with most Fanfics?) that was about how Scrapper would keep the skunk sisters occupied if they had to stay with him for a week while Val was away and Jim wasn't available for the task. I'd hoped JMH would get to read it, but I guess I've somewhat missed my opportunity in that regard. It was about halfway through, though I suppose I could go back, re-edit and release as a shortened version - which was still big enough to make a novella...

Scrapper, Black Dragon, less time writing these days. O_o
