Well, as I think of it, Des might have been a real person, but the art was his own, just changed enough to make it look different from his standard stuff.
I believe someone said that on here before as well. It's a possibility.

Des was indeed real, he went into some intimate details about her. She's a black girl, doesn't like some of the furries she's met so she has a problem with the fandom as a whole because of it; seems Jim took her to a con once and it didn't go well for her.

By no means, if she is real, do I want to discuss her identity--I'm well aware of how she feels about the furry community being connected to her career and in fact I employ a similar tactic in my personal life.
But I feel like this is one of those questions that just kind of drifted away after years of Jim's teasing.
