I agree that furry fandom is for everyone of all ages. It's just the peer groups outside of furry fandom insist on conformity and support for their disdain for the things that the pack is expected to snarl at. When the pack snarls you are expected with them especially in professional work places. If you have any opinions about astrology, tarot cards, psychic abilities of any kind, religion, or anything else that isn't safe to be spoken of then it had better not be said. In the 60s and 70s people were free to discuss almost anything. Something changed. Now people are scared stiff of accidentally stepping on toes. They want Stepford families sort of. And if you know what I'm talking about you're as old as I am. :)
