Ah, but none of those were as far-reaching as the religious calendars. Those
of us on the Net may agree on the year of it's inception as it's basis
(BI/AI. Or BN/AN). But those who don't have it probably wouldn't care.
That's why the religious ones were so widely accepted. The religion provided
the basis, no one who followed the religion questioned it...period.
