Oh, I agree with you - especially in the wake of some of the scams that
happened after 9/11, and the recent Florida hurricanes - even the most
"above board" organizations are not immune to a little dipping.

I called Radio Comix and asked them if they could contact Jim to see if it
would be alright to get his phone number so that I could get permission
from him directly.

As for safeguards, the "walk-around kitty" was counted in the con-ops
office by two people, with at least a half-dozen watching. The benefit
sales through the art show will be tallied by me, but with a paper trail
to confirm everything. Full figures will be posted to this group when the
finals are all in.
