         You've mixed up two things:

Dr. Kellogg was responsible for the creation of Corn
Flakes, and he was also a horrid prude who wanted to stamp
out masturbation.

Corn Flakes was invented to provide an easy to mass
serve, healthy, breakfast for his other invention: The modern
health spa.

To stop masturbation he pushed something else, that
to this day fully half of infant boys in the US are subjected to
for no real reason, (the rate is falling, thankfully).

I'm going to be blunt in my description, so I'll put in some
space.

A bit more.

You take the infant boy, tear about half of the skin of his
penis loose, and cut the now loose skin off.

I can understand religious circumcision, (although I would
like to see a return to the original form which just puts a circular
scar on the penis), but I do oppose cosmetic surgery being
preformed on infants.
