Hey folks,

I have seen this very thing happen to dozens and dozens of other
furry groups and as Rauhnee said in her earlier post, it is very
likely that it had absolutely nothing at all to do with age issues.

There are three reasons why yahoo closes groups.

1) the group contains adult material and is not located in an adult
section of yahoogroups.

2) materials being posted over the group are illegal or are copyrighted

3) someone complains too many times about the group.

Now if you look back at the DesireeLee group you can see that it was
in an adult area of yahoogroups and there was no illegal material
nor copyrighted material being posted without the permission of the
creator. Therefore it had to be the third reason which was that
someone contacted yahoogroups and complained about the group. Another
thing to remember is that yahoogroups has a whole lot of groups and
there is no way that they have the time nor manpower to police all of
their groups, so in order to be caught with the first two options it
would have to have been brought to yahoo's attention. There is also
the probability that the person who complained was probably denied
membership and they snitched the group out as revenge for being
denied membership.

I think that with the recent SPAM attacks and with some of the other
issues which have recently come to light over some of the furry/scaly
lists, that this is a good time to mention that Rauhnee, myself and a
few others are working on a list for Anthro moderators and owners,
where we can address problems that are and have been facing
the furry lists. This is not a project to point fingers at anyone,
and spamming and flamming will be dealt with using an iron fist.

Anthro-Mods is a list for helping each other to create and keep our
furry/scaly lists up and running. Anyone who is interested in helping
to improve and keep what we have in Anthro lists is encouraged to
join. The concept is that the more members we can get means more
constructive ideas on helping each other, so please let anyone whom
you think might be interested know about the Anthro_Mods list.
