I've never really concerned myself with popularity. It's not my
intention to win a popularity contest; rather, I try my best to bring
lots of hot and raunchy furry porn to any interested parties who like
looking at it. ;) Regarding styles, it's important to remember that
everyone sees things differently. The cool thing about furry art is
that it's the same subject matter, but interpreted numerous ways by
the artists. There are a LOT of artists whose work inspires me to
improve, just as there are a lot of artists whose work I find
desirable (anyone who can draw great toons definitely has my vote!).
I've been approached by a few other comic companies (some of them
numerous times), but I've declined their offers. Radio Comix may not
be the highest-paying or biggest company out there, but they know
what they're doing, and they do it because they _enjoy_ doing it. I
have absolutely no intentions of working for anyone other than
Radio. Even if a big company such as Marvel or DC were to approach
me, I'd tell 'em to take a long walk off a short pier.
Hypothetically, if I were to leave Radio, I'm sure they would want to
know why, and they might try to convince me to stay (breaking
kneecaps has always worked in my book!). I doubt that Radio views
many of their artists as "cash cows", but I'm sure they get off
knowing that a book and it's artist are well-received by the market,
and they're able to turn a profit. Let's face it, only money can pay
the bills!

As much as I love Jim`s work .I`m not going to put down some very talented
artists whose works have appear in radio comics like Jay Naylor or Fred
Perry for example. And its not like the people running Radio are getting rich
now.I`m sure they could make more money doing other things but they love
comics .And we should applaud them for the support of anthro/furry they
provide in visibility to the general comic market.
