I plan on putting the third color ( purple stripe ) in her hair. The
software allows for Root color and Tip color. I will have to create
a color map or use a gradient to get the third color in there.

Merely another reference for me. It gives me a good shot of her
hands and the front. The face area is a great shot too, but it is
1/4 angle turn, so it's hard to use for a reference. :)

It is my plan to have her fully animated. I have already placed the
preliminary bone systems in her for this reason. I do need to attach
extra bones since Des has assets that a normal biped skeletal
structure doesn't have. ( Tail, longer snout, etc. etc. )

Yes. Another reason for the additional bones. Jiggle physics will
be incorporated. >:)

More than you know. First attempt: placed 60,000 hair strands on her
head. Let it render overnight. Didn't even come close. Not even 1/4
of it. For a period of nine hours. Had to scale the hair strands
back a bit. :)
