So I have to type with one hand why shovelling lunch into
my muzzle - the price we pay... At least I'm getting a
chance to respond! Warning- long editorial rant
following...

Generally have to agree with you, read on for my views.

The clean-ness of line has a lot to do with appeal in my
opinion. Jay Naylor being another example (that springs to
mind) with bold, clean lines. The detail is there to give
the imagination all it needs without bordering on the
almost photo-realistic levels like Dark Natasha. Nothing
wrong with this, mind, but it bring Jim's art to a level of
"One day, I want to draw like that" as opposed to Dark
Natasha where I look at the detail and think "Oh boy.... no
hope of getting there." Not that I wouldn't love to, but
can't see me doing it without some serious tution and
practice... Not saying that I won't get to Jim's level
without the same, mind!!!

See my reference above. Not that there aren't other
awesome artists out there, I'm not that widely net
travelled, so haven't seen many of them yet.

Busty is fine, along with well curvy, but after a degree
(seems to be a very gray area) excessive proportions become
comical and lose any sexual appeal they may have had. I
guess it depends on what you're looking for! Good laugh or
personal satisfaction...

Frequently noticed by me that the characters expressions
tell the story so well. This is really important in any
character art; they are doing this, but what does their
faces say they are really thinking?

Agree, I don't feel the need to earn an honourary
gynecological degree, but this doesn't mean the occasional
bit of serious exposure doesn't get my attention! I'll be
searching for the hidden site when it's up. (It's not up
yet furs - don't ask!!!)
> So hats off to ya, Jim. You're an inspiration, and

It is impressive what can be achieved with some dedication
and effort. Indeed nearly all my art and stories in recent
history can be attributed to Skunkworks, in turn being
creditable to Jim.
Two weeks to go till they fix the optics. Thoughts are
with you Jim...
Scrapper, Black Dragon, engineer to artist with the aid of
Skunkworks new yiff program... ;-)
PS, Good to see a few of you posting on the group who we
haven't heard from in a while! S,BD
