Thank-you to all those furs who responded. I greatly
appreciate your effort to reply. Gives me motivation to
write others. :-) You generally seemed to enjoy my
spoogey effort.

I'm better at plot, though I tend to agree that the details
need working over. For a writer with good details who
posts to this group, see Rachel's work. I've a fair bit to
learn from her in regard to definition and detail. At
least since you've pointed it out, I know where to focus my
attention.

Lack of detail can lead to vagueries, but most certainly
feel free to re-read! :-)
Some of the ideas, I really should attribute to JMH, as I
look at his folios and prints then consider how I can use
this in a scenario for the sisters to end up in that
position. For those who own SW4, have a look at the Onyx
upside down pic, to get an idea of what Shad was seeing...
Or Lori standing next to the pillar, viewed from below.
So I suppose you could almost say SW4 is the illustrations
for this story!
Mind you, if anyone wants to do a few sketches as inspired
by the story, please go for it! I'd like to see Shad being
tit-whipped by Onyx... I think Shad would too. Hmm, ideas
for stories could be gleaned from trying to string together
all the pics in a folio... Make for an interesting
challenge!
For those wondering, I've never met JMH. I'd like to! I
always portray him as human in my stories as opposed to his
porcupine fursona. It just seems correct to me for him to
be human. *shrugs* I've cruised the files section, but Jim
may have taken it down. There was a photo of him in there
somewhere, but I can't find it. He was all spruced up for
a relative's wedding, though without the trademark beard.
That's about as much as I know in regard to what he really
looks like, since I don't think his character in the comics
etc can be taken to be exactly as he appears (eg, in Ups &
Downs).
I thought you'd have heaps to rant on about Brandon!
Incidentally, the weather has warmed up on this side of the
planet of late, so it may not just be you feeling warm
after reading the story. ;-)
Another story that is now on the cards is Jim's Birthday.
I'll let you know when it is due. AND it will feature a
fair amount of Val, for fans of the skunk.
Scrapper, Black Dragon, hoping one day to be revered to the
levels of Chris Yost, James Bruner etc in the furry fandom.
Hoping for world wide admiration in the greater community
could be pushing it!
