I thought there was something fishy about the whole thing, hence the
personal touch and underlining questions for the truth buried within it.
Someone apparently has taken over his account and told everyone to erase
him, that would make more sense to me. And I think I got my answers from the
second email that was sent to me. It was impersonal and written in order to
try and shut me up, unsuccessfully I might add. :D The mail states:
<clip> (Mail 1)
"It's not my job anymore. I am going out of the adult furry smut business
altogether. I decided not to make the new yahoo name after all.
from now on I am going legit no more p2p, no more risky shit."
(Mail 2)
"I am trying to dismantle a cease and desist order.. I had to destroy over
30 CDs I made of stuff I downloaded.
It was fun while it lasted. I am ditching Yahoo for good. I will not have a
presence on Yahoo- all the other dozen accounts that I own have been sold
off and/or have been closed down by myself.
Enjoy watching the series. I won't be uploading screencaps anywhere except
in eMule.
Please cease further communications. Goodbye."
<clip>
I replied to this second one but never got an answer. The series he's
talking about is Lilo &Stitch the series, as I replied in the
"Adultstitchfans" group, this reply appropriately matching the group's main
topic. I still have that feeling that it may not be a fake, but more
evidence points to it.
BTW, I'm Cooler Ranch flavor. :D

Naah.

In this case, yes.

Dynamic IP, both from the same area in Los Angeles, both User Area IP's.
Not to mention...

Okee... So -CREATING- the groups broke copyrights? How? You -CANNOT-
CANNOT and I repeat ONCE MORE for all the people who don't pay attention,
_-CAN NOT-_ copyright a character (Like Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, Lola
Bunny, Etc). You can -TRADEMARK- them, for specific merchandise, but you
cannot copyright them. If you disagree with this, I challenge you to find,
in the text of the actual copyright law, what states you can copyright a
character, which is specifically a concept, and images thereof being the
results of the description of this concept.
So, the only way that the user would have been "violating copyright" would
be if he posted art that was MADE by Warner (Screen Captures, etc), or
possibly violating copyrights of other artists.
Of course, as a side note, please bear in mind that with Yahoo, we get what
we pay for, and we are not actually the customers... We are the
PRODUCT. We are the eyes that are sold to the advertisers. And just like
a Doritos factory, where all the green or black chips are removed, if we
are not "Good Product", we will be snatched from the belt full of chips and
tossed into the salty trash can.
So... I bet none of you knew that we were Doritos. :)
