to Jim, Des and everybody else in SAMA!
I hope that this year will be filled with lots of great art
just like this last one was.
So many contributed here and every single one of them deserve
appreciation and praise. So, as one of your resolutions, make it a
rule to write your favorite artists more and tell them
what a great job they do.
Well, that's it for the light side of this post...next is a bit of
advice that is not meant to offend but to nudge some in the right
direction. So, if you're interested, read along...if not..then not.
I've become quite the lurker here, not because I want to
but because life is getting hectic...but also because
I don't believe in unnecessary posts. I always read through ALL
the posts posted on a particular group and only then decide
if a post is necessary. And I'd like to ask the pple around here, to
do that, too. If your point has already been brought up in a
discussion, don't still write it yourself, it's only making
the posts overflow. If the only comment you have is: "Me too."
or a "Yeah" then don't post it. Some members in Sama still have dial-
up-connections and such wastes just precious seconds.
Also, if someone posts something you don't like...don't flame, don't
insult. Leave it up to the Mods and Jim to tell those pple off.
And last but not least: If someone writes something offending, don't
lower yourself to their level but stay calm...maybe reprimand them
(if noone else has done so already) in a calm way. Some want to
provoke but if noone bites the bait, they run out of fuel sooner or
later...and sooner or later a Mod will kick that persons butt
out.
