20/70 in my left, which is up from being legally blind on that side, 20/13
in my right. Having a lazy eye sux. Fortunately, I grew up with it, so I've
adapted to having fair depth perception. If my eyes were suddenly to have
matching strength, it'd screw me up no end. I'd have to relearn how to see
the world, how to drive, judge distance, etc.
Live with honor. Live Bushido.

Yow, that's not a lot of fun, no.. I at least had the benefit of
learning to function with one eye (my right eye runs at 20/200
vision - it works, but like crap), the left is about 20/25) as a
child. I still have no depth perception and lousy peripheral vision,
so I didn't get the quintessential Canadian childhood experience of
playing hockey, but stuff like driving is okay. Good luck with it...
hope the surgery comes through soon.
