Buy some cheap, $2 sunglasses from a souvenir store or big grocery store
like Wal-Mart. (Black frames would probably be best, since it will not
alter the viewers perception of comparative coloration as much.) Just
pop the lenses out, since they usually come out easily enough. If they
don't just pop out, put them face down on a board, place the head of a
standard screwdriver in the center of the lens, and crack the plastic by
hitting the end of the handle with a hammer. Should be easy enough to
handle from there.

As a side note, could you please send me some info on exactly what
you're working on? I have a few family members who are diabetic and
would be interested in either being updated on your progress, or seeing
how I could help out.

Eventually, I would like to make up two cards -- one for area
exposure for feet and hands, and one for eyes that could be mounted
on a pair of glasses.

I tried finding some inexpensive eyeglass frames, but have been
unsuccessful. As a fallback plan, I was thinking of buying plastic
safety glasses and trying to find a way to cut out the eyepiece.

Ideas?
