True, I could use all I can get at this point.

Sounds a lot like my method. Nowadays, I rarely even finish a pic
in one sitting (usually two). I've found that unless I'm really
motivated or inspired, I sometimes have to put it aside and give my
hands a rest (not only that, but once the guidelines and such are
finished, getting the rest of the pic is a piece of cake for me).

That's something I've been wanting to try, but skill with coloring
media (markers, colored pencils, etc.) is a WHOLE 'nother situation
for me :p I'll get to that when I can, but first I want to define my
pencil and inkings first.

*nod nod* That works for me, too. I've had some people show up and
ask me about commissions, and though it sometimes takes me a while to
get them done (college and all...), its rewarding to know that I've
actually DONE something for someone.

I used to do that back in previous semesters, but somedays screw up
my scheduling because of late classes or extra homework and such.
Still... one has to MAKE the time...

I hear ya on that! (the 'getting useful comments' part, I mean :p
I imagine having 20 miles to the nearest 'net connection is painful
though, heh heh)
