Shoes also depend on the species and how "furry" the animal is. By that I
mean if they take more to the human form or their animal form.
There are many different types of furry even within the same species
for some footwear is not possible depending on if there legs structure.

For example I have a pack of wolves who's legs and feet are more human in
form (there heels touch the ground when they walk and there pads are smaller
in
nature, many can wear shoes if they want), but my main wolf character Wataru
is more wolf in form. (he walks on the front part of his feet and what would
translate into a heel is located up on the leg and the pads of his feet are
thicker, making shoes a difficut fit)

Also, some furrys wouldn't fit too well into shoes.

My fursona Archae has bird-type feet.
How'd you like to be a shoe salesman, and an avian walks in?

The guy would need a straitjacket pretty soon. <G>
