Those of you with a keen sense of observation may have noticed that
none of the bats I have drawn have ever worn shoes. Veronika
(Caterwaul Inc.) never wears shoes. As in Ross's example above,
since bats oftentimes use their feet for tasks not possible with feet
of a plantigrade design, it would be senseless to try to cover them
with footwear. That, and the fact that the feet I generally draw
bats with are larger and more specialized than, say, the skunks' feet.
All this talk of feet reminds me that mine are tired...
