*Sighs* People don't listen to me, do they?
Kids can't access your group, period, unless they've already faked credentials. If someone has a blank profile, they're over 18 (or at least told Yahoo such in a legally binding manner). If their profile says they're underage, they're probably being honest, or just fucking around.
if they actually told Yahoo they are underage, THEY CANNOT EVEN SEE YOUR GROUP!
Please, people. Please.

I require age in the public profile to be reasonably sure they are
adult. If they don't wish to do that I require an email saying they are
over 18. My deal with Warner Bros over my web site required me to
password restrict the adult part of my web site so I made the yahoo
group as an easier means to manage that. I am not so sure it was any
easier;( But either way the yahoo profile or email gives me that
'reasonable doubt' coverage if anyone bitches. There is really no way to
validate being an adult online as every single method can be faked. It
should at least slow down little kid access and make them work for it.
On a side note, the approval page that shows names and has the sex/age
line does not always show sex/age correctly! You have to actually look
at their profile in many cases to see age. More yahoo errors.
