JMH came through with the goods!

Well, it has been a while, but Jim was good to his word and
has delivered. The forwarded text below my sign-off was
from the auction back about the time Jim's life was taking
a turn for the worse. For a while there, I thought he'd
forgotten, etc. I bided my time and one day Jim mailed me
and requested an address confirmation. And yesterday the
package arrive! About 2.3 YEARS later, but the magazines
have arrived!

For those who haven't got or read a copy of Genus -
Spotlight on Skunkworks, get a copy! FUNNY AS! I had some
serious chuckles just reading the first one (read it twice
mind...) LOVE the expression on Lori's face after she
encounters the hose! Just SO wrong! :-D I read it once
when I got home, went shopping and instead of unpacking
felt the irresistable urge to read it again (and left all
the frozen stuff in bags on the floor to be discovered the
next morning - OOOPS!). Have to ration myself to one a day
so savour the flavour. :-)

Got my 95% fur free that dates back almost as far as well.
I have seen scans (including stuff posted here) of a few of
the pics, but the detail in the print is much nicer than
the online. It's 'the paper' thing. :-) Sharpness in the
Genus is much better than the scans I have seen too. For
those who'd like to purchase a copy of Genus (and the only
place you can buy new copies of JMH's folios), I can highly
recommend Ed Zolna of Second Ed. Prompt, efficient and
competitively priced. AND he ships at a discount to
overseas customers! I've told him off for this, but he
insists. *shrugs* (Charges US$5 for overseas shipping,
irrespective of amount - it had $18 worth of postage on the
packages!) See his web site for online catalogues, contacts
etc.
http://www.second-ed-mailorder.com The link is in
the LINKS section of the group, under Second Ed if you are
looking for it later.

Thank-you for the bonus as well - you can never have too
much Desiree. :-)

Thinking of the pitbull pic you did (interesting way of
making a print, too, Mr Xerox! ;-) ) and that I've sprayed
onto a t-shirt; take a few minutes for yourself this
weekend and do the sketch of what you want airbrushed onto
a t-shirt. I'm having a spray session in about two weeks
with some other airbrush guys, so time is scheduled to get
things done! T-shirt with 40" chest suit you? And like I
said, pick one of your character pictures s that you want
sprayed and I'll do you one of those while I'm going.
Shipping cost for two shirts is not much different to one.
Or if you can't think of a pic, ask Des - I'm sure she'll
have a preference. Any pic of yours you like. I don't
care how much 'exposure' it has; 1) I'm not wearing it,
2) They're only lines on cotton, I don't care what you
perceive them to be when I'm finished! :-)

You've been doing stuff for us, so now it is time I return
the favour. Because I want to! If you don't mind, I'll
photograph them and post the pics here for furs to see.

Scrapper, Black Dragon, damn pleased that Jim is a man of
his word!
