Eh, we dragons well know what you are talking about. :-(
That gravity thing can really hinder rapid gains in
altitude. And being armoured (scaled) externally tends to
mean causing accidental destruction and not even noticing
you've done it can be a regular part of the careless
dragon's day... Damn it, another hole in the keyboard!

Reading your descriptions, I was sitting here nodding,
thinking "yes, yes, that is how the normal creatures' claws
look". So there is a tip, furs. If you look carefully at
the detail of the species you are trying to draw, you will
get much better results. It's the sum of the little stuff
that makes the big difference. Obviously it may pay to
research the creature you are trying to draw if you are
unfamiliar with a species' characteristics.

There's quite a few premises in that lot - meaning there
are many 'opt out options'. :-)

Aww, I dunno, I was suspecting it was more like "Only
picture I will ever do*" Where * has fine print "until I
change my mind and do another one or folio full..." :-P

You're da fur Jim. :-) Just as long as we don't say
"You're da fuzz" as that could sound SO wrong in so many
ways... ;-)

Scrapper, Black Dragon, it must be late or a weekend, since
JMH is not usually on line the same time as me...
