Thanks, man. Actually, Veronika is probably one of the most
powerful characters I have (even stronger than Leila!) Her muscle
density and construction (and those of other bats as well) is far
and above the level found in other individuals. They must be able
to fly, and it would take a LOT of strength to get a 100+ pound body
airborne! As a downside, she must be very very careful with how she
handles things. One of the case logs I had on the first draft of
the Caterwaul site was an entry detailing the newly-formed group's
first mission (it was only 4 members then, I think). After getting
blind-sided by a ruthless villian tossing an empty drum at her, she
reciprocated by removing the individual's legs below the knees.
Their foes were some of the folks behind the big hub-bub that led to
the murder of Crystal's father many years earlier, and Caterwaul was
playing with the kid gloves OFF. In issue 7 (it's only written, not
drawn, mind you), Veronika tears the door off a car when the bad
guys try to flee. Her only injury is a slightly sore shoulder for
the next few days. Wouldn't want to piss her off!

I try to vary the claws for different species. For example, bats
(like Veronika) have fairly straight claws; there isn't a whole lot
of curvature to them. A wolverine, like Leila, also has long claws,
but they are much more curved. Also, Veronika's claws have an
indent along their undersides, like an upside-down "v" which runs
the full length of the claw's underside. It's sorta like a built-in
blood groove.
An eagle or hawk, on the other hand, has claws which, at their
base, are shaped a bit like an upside-down teardrop. They are
rounded along the top side, but they curve downwards and meet at a
razor-sharp peak at the middle of the claw's underside.

Heh heh. You'll notice the picture I posted is only a sketch,
right? The chances of it becoming a full-color drawing are slim and
none. The other picture you refer to is, indeed, the only full-
color drawing I have done of Veronika in the nude, and it is the
only one available for folks to purchase. Thought you had me on
that one, huh? ;)
Speaking of prints, Second Ed has about two DOZEN new or
previously unreleased prints available in my print sections. These
include pics of Onika, Treska, the Trio, and even the almighty Des
in that skinny purple bikini that is just begging to be pulled out
of the furrow between her legs with your teeth! (It's the unedited
one from the Ups & Downs cover).
Okay, I'm going back to work on BTT. Progressing right along
quite nicely, and even adding some new artwork and comics...
