From my experience most artist stop creating because either they get burned out because of their fans demanding to much, their fans don't appreacciate them enough which depresses them(in reference to Vangogh and Picasso), they have a major crisis that makes them stop,or they arn't making enough to live on so they have to find another means which they have to reduce the amount of art they are producing and many other reasons. But you should remember that he/she should be respected because they have a talent that helps us see a world that can be changed with a pen.

Although I never post here, I've been a member for a while. I just
think that these days we don't see nearly as much great furry/yiffy
stuff as we used to in years past. I remember about 4 or so years
ago I could go to just about any big site (Eric S, J. Bernal, TDK,
battleart, J. Hardiman, etc etc.) and see regular updates all the
time. Nowadays it seems like all the so called big artists (like the
ones above) hardly ever put out regular updates of new material.
Even J. Bernal, who has his pay site, updates weekly with guest art
much of the time. For weks at a time you might not see any new
original J Bernal art on his site, just guest stuff. I'm wondering,
has the great world of fur/yiff art gone downhill? Am I not going to
the right sites? Or are artists just not putting out the great new
material that they used to? What do you guys think is going on
here? I would just die to see new yiffy stuff from Eric S,
Bonk&Fossil, TDK, and Hardiman (although Hardiman does have his eye
problems). Your thoughts guys?
